Ass Kicking Paleo Wings

Denise and I were invited over to a friends house on the weekend for a Superbowl party and were also asked to bring a dish to share.

For some reason I instantly thought of the wings we used to serve at the Bamboo Dining Lounge where I was Head Chef for many years. They were hands down the best wings I have ever eaten. The blend of Eastern and Caribbean spices make these paleo wings intoxicatingly delicious and were a favorite at the restaurant.

If you are dairy tolerant, these wings are excellent dipped in a Blue Cheese Sour Cream Dip as well as a Thai Red Pepper Sauce.

I made these tonight and they were awesome! I really loved them, my wimpy tonged husband also loved them but thought they were too spicy HA

I am looking for recipes to stick to paleo and definitely lose weight – I keep hearing about people gaining weight on it and now i’m freaking out over what i eat. i feel like there is a dangerous line between paleo and atkins (and i hate atkins diet)… if you have any tips, on the losing weight part please let me know, you look fantastic!

Thanks for the nice comment about the wings. Your husband needs to man up LOL.

If you are gaining weight, then you may be doing something wrong. Do you have the Robb Wolf book “The Paleo Solution”? Absolutely no grains, sugar, dairy, seed oils and legumes for 30 days. Eat Meat, fats high in saturated fat, vegetables, some berries and nuts. Do some mild exercise, like 2-3 km walks, jogs everyday, lift some heavy weights 2-3 days a week and you will drop the fat.

      Good luck 🙂
